Disneyland is a magical place and was SO, SO CROWDED. We had prepared ourselves for busy but this was sort of insane. It literally was shoulder to shoulder people in some places. We also found ourselves to be the only white people there (I exaggerate but not by much!) I wasn't sure if I was in Mexico or Disneyland at times. We did however love being there despite the crowds and heat and found some of our favorite characters and made some great memories! That is what it is all about right?
Lucy was a real trooper and went on some really scary rides. Space Mountain was not her choice but she did it. I did have pity on her and didn't make her go on the Matterhorn, Splash Mountain, Indiana Jones, or the Haunted Mansion. One of everybody's favorites (but Lucy's) was the Runway Railroad and after maybe the 4th time she would NOT go on it anymore!
Space Mountain
Autopia was one of Julia's favorite rides. Something about being a kid and driving a car is so awesome!
For whatever reason the Peter Pan ride in Disneyland always has the longest line. This time was no different. In order to ride it you just have to wait in a huge line. I feel like there should be some sort of pin or badge that you could purchase that says " I survived the wait for Peter Pan" because we needed one!
One of the highlights of Disneyland was meeting the princess. The girls were so cute and Lucy was smiling ear to ear every time we got to meet a different one. I loved how it didn't matter if my girls were 11, 8, or 4, meeting a princess was important! This made the long lines and heat worth it.
While at Disneyland we started searching for Natalie's Dumbo. We were having no luck! We asked around and nobody seemed to know where to get it. We finally asked a saleslady who called the main store and she told us that the Disney Store in Downtown Disney carried this Dumbo but the supply was low and they were probably already gone. We decided we would go the next day and try our luck. We knew Dumbo was somewhere, where was everyone getting them from?!
Last time we were at Disneyland the Small World ride was closed. Everyone liked it this time especially because it was a 15 minute air conditioned ride!
We started out the day at Alice in Wonderland and the tea cups rides and finished up the day the same way.
