Home again, home again, jiggity, jig!
Our last day on the road was our longest stretch of the entire trip. We stopped in Spokane to see our last temple-- #20! We could not believe how small it was. We knew that it was one of the first "small" temples that was built but this thing is tiny. The Stake Center next door is way bigger.
It wouldn't be a road trip to Western Washington if you don't hit terrible traffic going over Snoqualmie Pass and right as we got onto Hwy 18 for our last 15 miles there was a turned over semi truck making traffic a huge mess. We got home exactly 2 weeks almost to the minute from when we left. We had about 30 political messages left on our voicemail and an entire tree worth of political fliers in the mail. Ahh... feels good to be home!
Day 15: Our own BEDS! Already scheming our next road trip!
