We got a late start time on our vacation because of some church obligations that we needed to do before we left. We attended church and when Mitch got home from his ward, we left home around 5:45. (Have I mentioned Mitch's new calling is in the High Council? He attends "his" ward every Sunday without us. Sounds like a perfect calling for an old man, that is turning 40!)
We decided before we left on this adventure that we would stop at as many temples as we could. This turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Our first stop of the trip was to the Portland Temple.
Temple #1
That night we stayed in Eugene, OR. The girls were so cute. They kept a journal each night of where we stayed, the room number, how many beds, and what they ate for breakfast each morning, and other cute odds and ends of the trip. Everyone was in charge of carrying their own luggage.
1st Night- Best Western, Room 202, three double beds (Mitch and I slept real close!)
Cameron might receive the Saint award for sharing a bed with Lucy the entire trip. She at times isn't the easiest of bed buddies.
