Its been declared..

...that June 15, 2015 is to be Issaquah High School Girls Track & Field Team Day in the City of Issaquah.

This year was Mitch's first year as the Co-Head coach of  Issaquah High School's track team.   He spent a lot of time, sweat, and tears on this team.  The girls had an amazing team and won every meet, invitational, KingCo, Districts, and State!  This is a huge accomplishment as 4A sports are very competitive.  Mitch hates any kind of recognition and really hates adults receiving awards but this is kind of a big deal.  He and his Co-head, Tracy were named Coach of the Year for KingCo.   He loves coaching and the kids he coaches really love him.  I am really proud of him even though at times I can get frustrated with the time commitment that this sport takes.  I am glad that he has a passion for something that he loves and is so good at. 

 

Piano Recital 2015

Cameron and Julia finished their 3rd year of piano this week with a piano recital. This year was a success even with some major events (Grandma's heart surgery!) that happened along the way.  Thanks to our awesome grandma for teaching us! 

Cameron would like to point out that Julia was wearing very high heeled sandals in this picture!
