Disneyland
What a trip!
I am having a hard time figuring out what to say about our trip and literally going though the 300+ pictures of the it, I am a bit overwhelmed by the task. We were so lucky to have Grandpa and Grandma Stuard with us! They were such a big help with the kids and Grandpa was our very own "Papa- razzi." He captured the best moments of the trip on his camera. It was so special to share this trip with them. The kids are at such good ages to take to Disneyland. Old enough and tall enough to stand in lines and ride on everything, (Natalie included) yet young enough to truly capture the magic that is Disneyland. Julia was by far the cutest thing I have ever seen. I highly recommend to anyone taking a 7 year old to Disneyland. It will melt your heart. She hands down, made the trip for me one I won't forget.
The first excitement of our trip was getting there, by PLANE. All of the kids have been on a plane as babies but none of them remember flying so this was very exciting. On a large side note: There was one person in the family who DID NOT want to fly but only did so with threat of death by his wife. That person will remain nameless. Let it be said for the record that we all survived the plane ride. Barely.
Boarding the plane
Lucy reviewing the flight procedures
On the way home we had a layover in Portland. The kids were so patient.
Our flight left for California, Tuesday night at 7:45 pm. One might have questioned the reasoning behind taking a baby on a plane at bedtime but the flight was so cheap we couldn't pass up the great deal. Lucy actually did pretty good on the plane despite the late hour. The kids loved the in-flight pretzel/ peanut snack and of course checking out the bathroom. By the time the plane landed, we got a car and made our way to the motel it was late. The next morning came bright and early though as we headed off to California Adventure by 7:30 am ready to have some FUN.
Glad you got to go, what Fun!!! Thanks G &G Stuard.
