Baseball
Cameron "Lefty" Stuard
The Thunder Beatles
Baseball is done for the year. It was a l-o-n-g 22 game season for mom. This year was Cameron's first year of coach/kid pitch and it wasn't for the weak of heart. The coaches were tough and so were some of the kids. Even though it was a team for "starters" that was not the case. Most of the kids have obviously been playing for awhile and knew what was going on. The games weren't supposed to be scored but the coaches did anyway and played the kids like they were. The kids with the least amount of experience were last in the batting order and in the outfield most of the time. That sort of bugged me, if you can't tell... Cameron was a nervous man most of the time not wanting to do something wrong and as you can see his poor glove got the worst of it. It was hard for me at times to watch him struggle a bit. In the last inning of the last game Cameron played short stop, got a ball that was coming to him and was able to tag the runner out for the last out of the game. That was a high note to finish the season on! All in all he did a good job and I think he had fun... and he sure looked cute in this uniform!
A relay game with the other team.
