Natalie has started talking a ton in the last week or so. Her favorite things to say is "what" and "why". I don't know if she really knows what she is saying but she sure has a lot of questions. The other day I overheard a "conversation" Julia and Natalie were having and it made me laugh.
Julia: "Natalie don't do that, it is mine"
Natalie: "Why?"
Julia: "Just for 'cause, it is mine"
Natalie: "Why?"
Julia: (A little flustered) "Just for 'cause Natalie"
Natalie: "Why?"
Julia: (A little more intense) "Just for 'cause"
Natalie: "Why?"
Julia: (Getting really annoyed) "Natalie, just for cause!"
Natalie: "Why?"
Julia: "Natalie, stop talking to me!!"

Big girls DO cry!
About a month ago I took the kids to McDonald's and got happy meals. To our surprise instead of a toy it was a CD, Kidz Bop Music with 5 tracks. The songs are normal pop songs recorded with kids singing the songs. (Can it really be that bad? If you are our dad the answer is intolerable!) Of course I received three happy meals with the same CD in them. Really? Anyway...the tracks aren't too bad: Life is a Highway, Big Girls Don't Cry, Holiday, Home, and of course our favorite Kidz Bop World. It is cute to hear Julia singing her heart out to Big Girls Don't Cry and Life is a Highway and in fact it isn't too bad at first but after a month of the same five songs and no other Cd's will do, I am about to cry. The worst perhaps is when I am driving down the road sing the songs and I realize I am the only one in the car! Why am I listening to this and enjoying it? I guess if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Thank you McDonalds for bring us the gift of music.

Go Cheetahs!
This spring Cameron has been playing t-ball. He has practices on Mondays and games on Saturdays. It has been a cold, rainy t-ball season so far. I think that it has been nice weather for about two games and one practice. He has been having a lot of fun despite the weather and he is so cute! His team is the cheetahs and before/after each game they give a cheer. It doesn't get much cuter than that. The girls have been good sports coming to the wet practices and games. They don't mind too much just watching, although when the snacks are being passed out Julia stands to the side and bats her big brown eyes hoping that she will get one too.
Cam is #9 and he doesn't know the name of all the kids on his team yet so when he sees them he yells, "See you later #3, good job today!" He is so funny.
